Entertainment Festival announces Chance to Win a Round Trip Ticket to Japan on

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce
of Nevada proudly presents the Fifth Annual Las Vegas Japanese Food &
Entertainment Festival: Aki Matsuri.
Sponsored this year by Asahi – Japan’s leading brand of beer – visitors
can taste the best of Las Vegas’ vibrant Japanese food scene, this year’s
festival is also presents two Japanese recording artists performing for the
first time ever in Nevada. Kids’ games,
traditional dance, Japanese Taiko drums, and much, much more await visitors to
this year’s Japanese festival!
But that’s not all – for the
price of a raffle ticket ($1) one lucky winner will win a round-trip ticket to
Japan on Japan Airlines!
The festival runs October 24 and
25th, in the parking lot behind the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Plenty of free parking!

Downtown bar and eatery, Park on
Fremont, is set to launch Parktoberfest from Oct. 17-31 at Fremont East
Entertainment District.
Park on Fremont will transform
the lot directly west of the venue into a rustic paradise complete with hay
bale seating, keg barrel tables, intimate string lighting and a grassy picnic
area.
Parktoberfest will feature live
entertainment nightly from DJs and bands, multiple food offerings, specialty
beers on tap, dancing and more.
Guests may also participate in
festival-style games such as beer pong, corn hole and hammerschlagen, a
medieval play on "whack-a-mole."
Parktoberfest will run from 6
p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday and
Sunday.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition
is an unprecedented opportunity to travel back in time and experience the wonder
and tragedy of the world’s most famous ocean-liner, Titanic. Viewed by more
than 25 million people worldwide, the Exhibition is one of the highest attended
in history. Over 250 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck site of
Titanic, as well as extensive recreations of some of the most famous rooms from
the Ship, make this an educational and entertaining experience perfect for all

and produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Inc., Da Vinci The Exhibition is a
hands-on examination of da Vinci’s life, research and art. Featuring more than
65 fully built, life-size inventions, more than 20 fine art studies and dozens
of stunning displays, guests will learn the complex beginnings and lifetime
achievements of da Vinci through his discoveries in art, engineering, flight,
hydraulics, music, light and more. Throughout the exhibition’s themed
galleries, visitors will discover the breadth and scope of da Vinci’s
incredibly advanced understanding of science, mathematics, nature, and the
relationship between the three. The artist’s intricate designs and
extraordinary early concepts are spotlighted, including his design for the
helicopter, tank, SCUBA, crane, clock, submarine and his plan for a modern
city. Additionally, various multimedia experiences and documentary
presentations will provide a multitude of supplementary information on da
Vinci’s discoveries and creative process. Exhibition Hours: Sunday-Thursday,
9:30am-7pm. Friday-Saturday, 9am-9pm.
